Join the West Park Civic Association for an intimate look at a selection of the West Park Historic District's most beautiful homes. Follow the progress of renovations on the Shimer Mansion’s carriage house, currently being restored by Jaindl Properties. Wander through homes with beautiful woodwork, stained glass, and a wide range of furnishings, from traditional to contemporary. Visit elegant townhouses and a stately residence complete with a working elevator. Take in the 360-degree view from the roof top pavilion of The Livingston after touring one if its largest apartments. Marvel at the rarely seen, but spectacular historic lodge rooms at the Masonic Temple, each designed in a different period style: Egyptian, Doric, Gothic, and Renaissance.
A complimentary trolley runs from the Episcopal Church of the Mediator, 1620 Turner Street, to the historic Dime Savings and Loan building at 7th and Hamilton Streets, the gateway to the new Renaissance Hotel Allentown, where you can tour the 10th-floor Presidential Suite, and enjoy refreshments on the terrace. Experience Allentown’s newest upscale apartments at Strata Flats at Four City Center with a sneak preview of a model apartment.
